The Baltimore Ravens have signed former University of Maryland Kicker Brian Kopka to a one-year contract. His biography follows.

Signed with Baltimore as a free agent on 5/17/01.Kicked three seasons for Maryland, and held kickoff and PAT duties his freshman campaign.Finished second in scoring in each of his final two seasons.Finished 8 of 12 (66.7%)
on FGAs his senior season, including four out of five in the 40 to 49-yard range, and was 26 of 28 (93%) in PATs for 50 points.Scored 80 points his junior Terrapin season, finishing with a career-high 16 FGs in 21
opportunities (76%) and 32 of 33 PATs (97%).He led the Terps in scoring during his sophomore season with 58 points, and was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist.Shared the team lead with 30 points in his freshman season.Was
