The Ravens scored their most convincing win in team history, a 44-7 victory over the visiting Cleveland Browns. The victory propelled the Ravens to 9-4 on the season and gave them an 8-2 AFC Central record. RB Jamal Lewis rushed for 170 yards on 30 carries and two TDs. Baltimore rushed for 247 yards overall and tied a team record with three rushing touchdowns (two by Lewis, one by Priest Holmes). QB Trent Dilfer threw two TD passes, two yards to Sam Gash 46 yards to Patrick Johnson. K Matt Stover kicked three field goals to set a single season field goal record (31) and reach the 1,000 point milestone. Baltimore�s defense limited the Browns to one TD on the game�s opening drive (86 yards), then shutdown the Cleveland offense for the rest of the game. The Browns managed just 112 yards and five first downs.
WR/PR Jermaine Lewis suffered sprained ribs and did not return.
The Ravens� 44-7 win was their ninth of the season, a franchise high (eight wins in 1999).
