A MERCEDES AND A MILLION

Thursday - 12/13/2001

One lucky Ravens fan will have the opportunity to win a Mercedes-Benz SLK and $1 million at halftime of the Dec. 23 Cincinnati Bengals game at PSINet Stadium.

In partnership with Mile One Automotive, the Ravens will announce five finalists of a season-long "Keys to the Game" promotion. Each of the finalists will receive a key and a chance to unlock a Mercedes SLK. The finalist whose key opens the Mercedes will be awarded the chance to kick a 15-yard field goal at halftime of the Ravens-Bengals game. If the kick is made, the contestant will win the Mercedes. If the kick is made and lands in a stack of tires, provided by Mile One Mr. Tire, the contestant wins the car and $1 million.

A drawing will be held Dec. 14 at the corporate offices of Mile One Dec. 14 to select the five finalists. These contestants will head to PSINet Stadium on Dec. 18, when one grand prize winner will be determined. Careful
instruction and advice by kicker Matt Stover will prepare the winner for their kick on Dec. 23.

"I'm trying to get my name in the lottery," Ravens' President David Modell said. "So is Goose. We think we can kick a 15-yard field goal."

The winning contestant will be featured on the Ravens' television show, "Report from the Ravenszone," which airs Saturday nights at 6 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.

"We have received nearly 10,000 entries through our dealerships, Mr. Tire stores and on our website, MileOne.com," said Gerry Blair, President of Mile One Marketing. "The response has been overwhelming."

Mile One Automotive consist of Heritage, Herb Gordon, the Baltimore Area Saturn Retailers, Tischer of Silver Spring, Mr. Tire Auto Service and Allstate Leasing and Rentals.
