The NFL stars of tomorrow are heading to Europe this spring to compete in the NFL Europe League through allocation by NFL clubs that was announced today. The players hope to gain valuable experience abroad before joining the hundreds of NFL Europe alumni already succeeding in the NFL.
A total of 227 current NFL players – the most ever – were allocated to the six NFL Europe teams for the 2001 campaign which kicks off on April 21 and culminates with World Bowl ’01 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on June 30.
The following players from Baltimore have been allocated to the NFL Europe League for the 2001 season:
